Paneer Sandwich Recipe

INGREDIENTS

200 grams paneer
2 tbsp curd
1 pinch of Catch turmeric powder
¼ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp Catch red chili powder
½ tsp Catch coriander powder
½ tsp Catch garam masala powder
½ tsp dry mango powder
Catch table salt as required
1 medium onion
1 small to medium red capsicum
Chaat masala as required
Green Chutney
Butter as required
12-14 bread slices

Accompaniments with Paneer Sandwich:

  • Ketchup
  • Potato Wafers
  • Chutney

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Crumble 200 grams of paneer in a bowl or pan.
  2. Add spices – 1 pinch of Catch turmeric powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp Catch red chili powder, ½ tsp Catch coriander powder, ½ tsp Catch garam masala powder, ½ tsp dry mango powder.
  3. Add 2 tbsp curd.
  4. Season with Catch table salt.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Take the bread slices and spread butter on them.
  7. Spread green chutney on them.
  8. Place some thin onion slices and red capsicum slices.
  9. Sprinkle some chaat masala and place the paneer stuffing.
  10. Place the bread slices in the sandwich maker.
  11. Grill till crisp and golden.
  12. Serve grilled paneer sandwiches with dip or sauce of your choice.

Recipe Notes/Suggestions:

  • Alter the seasoning as per your taste.
  • You can use the bread of your choice: brown bread, multigrain bread, white bread.
  • You can also use green bell pepper or yellow bell pepper.
