Fish Pakora Recipe

INGREDIENTS

500 gms fish – filleted and cut into desired sizes
For marination:
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
For the batter:
200 gms gram flour
Water
1 tsp Catch red chili powder
½ tsp Catch turmeric powder
½ tsp crushed cumin
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
Oil for deep frying
Catch chat masala

Accompaniments with Fish Pakoras:

  • Ketchup
  • Chutney
  • Chili Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Marinate the fish pieces in the lemon juice and salt for 15 minutes, wash and place in a colander to drain the water.

2) Make a thick batter with water, flour, Catch red chili powder, cumin, Catch turmeric powder, salt and baking soda.

3) Coat each slice with the batter and deep fry.

4) Sprinkle with chat masala and serve hot.

Recipe Notes/ Suggestions:

  • Fry the fish pakoras till they turn golden brown and make sure not to over fry it.
