Brussel Sprouts Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 kg Brussel sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
3 tbsps olive oil
1 tsp Catch salt
½ tsp Catch black pepper

Accompaniments with Brussel Sprouts:
• Salad
• Soup
• Grilled Chicken

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre-heat oven to 205 degrees.
  1. Place trimmed Brussel sprouts, olive oil, Catch salt and Catch black pepper in a large resealable plastic bag and shake to coat.
  1. Pour onto a baking sheet, and place on center oven rack.
  1. Roast in the pre-heated oven for 30-45 minutes, shaking the pan every 5-7 minutes for even browning. Reduce heat when necessary to prevent burning.
  1. Brussel sprouts should be darkest brown, almost black when done.

  • Adjust the seasoning of salt and pepper as required.
