Bread Pakora Recipe

INGREDIENTS 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp curry leaves 1 ¼ tsp hing/asafoetida 2 green chilies 1 tsp ginger paste 1 boiled potato 3 tsp Catch salt 1 ½ tsp Catch turmeric powder 1 ½ tsp Catch red chili powder 1 tsp Catch garam masala powder 1 tsp coriander leaves ½ tsp Catch garam masala powder 1 cup gram flour 2 tsp Catch red chili powder 2 tsp Catch salt 1 tsp Catch turmeric powder ½ tsp ajwain ¼ cup rice flour 2 slices paneer 5-6 Slices of bread Accompaniments with Bread Pakora:

  • Ketchup
  • Chutney


  1. Take a pan and heat oil in it.
  1. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing.
  1. Add green chilies and ginger paste. Mix well.
  1. Put boiled potato in the pan, add Catch salt, Catch turmeric powder, Catch red chili powder, Catch garam masala powder and coriander leaves.
  1. Mix them thoroughly in the pan, to make a thick filling.
  1. Take a bowl, add gram flour, Catch red chili powder, Catch salt, Catch turmeric powder, ajwain, rice flour and some water.
  1. Stir it thoroughly to make a liquid batter.
  1. Take the paneer and sprinkle Catch red chili powder and Catch salt over it.
  1. Take slices of bread and spread the potato filling and paneer between two slices.
  1. Cut the bread slices into two.
  1. Dip the bread slices in the gram flour mix, to completely soak it.
  1. Deep fry in hot oil.
  1. Serve hot.
Recipe Notes/Suggestions:
  • After deep frying the pakoras, make sure to soak them on a tissue paper to get rid of the extra oil.
