Aloo Bhujiya Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 boiled potatoes
½ cup gram flour
1 tsp Catch chaat masala powder
½ cup refined oil
½ cup rice flour
1/8 cup butter
1 pinch salt

Accompaniments with Aloo Bhujiya:

  • Hot Tea
  • Other Indian Snacks

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl. Make sure there are no lumps. Add butter to the mashed potato mixture and mix it well.
  2. Take another bowl and gradually add the gram flour, rice flour, Catch chaat masala powder and salt in it.
  3. Then add the potato mixture and some water (if required) in the flour mixture. Using your hands, mix all the ingredients properly to a smooth dough. Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame. Add the potato mixture to the sev maker.
  4. Gently press the sev maker over the hot oil and deep fry the sev until it turns slightly golden in hue. Once done, remove the excess oil.
  5. Store it in an air-tight container and enjoy the snack.

  • You can adjust the spices as per your taste.
