Catch Salt & Spices all set to expand Distribution Network in Madhya Pradesh Will enhance the Re Distribution Stockists by nearly 50%

 

Indore, 6 May, 2015: Catch Salt & Spices, a part of the Rs 6500-crore DS Group, has aggressive plans to expand its distribution channel in Madhya Pradesh. It is an important and one of the fastest growing markets for the brand and the company is looking to boost the distribution network by nearly 50 % for enhanced volume growth. Catch, known as one of the most premium F&B brands in the country, is set to augment its portfolio and break into newer markets.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. O P Khanduja, Associate Business Head, DS Spiceco Pvt. Ltd, said “With an increase in the distribution network, we will ensure wide spread brand availability and faster replenishments. We are looking for tripling the revenue from the state in 2015-16. He further added, “Constant increase in sales of convenience spices like blends in the state, indicate cosmopolitan consumption pattern and experimenting with different cuisines. We will ensure the availability of all the 26 variants and 68 active SKUs of Catch Blends in Madhya Pradesh.”

A strategic mix of ATL and BTL activities for MP, comprising of participation in Fairs and Swadeshi melas, Kitty Parties, Cooking competitions at various levels and relevant branding at retail outlets, modern retail and local Dhabas will take the Catch brand experience to a new level this year. The strategic 360 degree approach is expected to leave a long lasting impression of the brand amongst the consumers and contribute to the growth of the business in the region.

Madhya Pradesh is an important market for Catch Salt & Spices. In the current financial year there will be a lot of emphasis on investment in HORECA segment & Modern Trade in the state, which would help achieve the desired growth. A five year growth and investment plan is being put in place to utilize the potential of the state in terms of both volume and value.
